{"id":123,"date":"2011-12-11T08:49:53","date_gmt":"2011-12-11T08:49:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tezzatron.com\/loadsofrecipes\/2011\/12\/11\/chicken-and-prawn-curry\/"},"modified":"2011-12-11T08:49:53","modified_gmt":"2011-12-11T08:49:53","slug":"chicken-and-prawn-curry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loadsofrecipes.co.uk\/chicken-recipes\/chicken-and-prawn-curry\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken and prawn curry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"style15\">200g Chicken breast cut into thin slices<\/li>\n<li> 200g Raw prawns, peeled<\/li>\n<li> 1 400ml Tin coconut milk<\/li>\n<li> 1 level dessertspoon Paprika<\/li>\n<li> 1\/2 tsp Turmeric<\/li>\n<li> 3 Large cloves garlic, crushed<\/li>\n<li> 2.5cm Piece of ginger, grated<\/li>\n<li> 1 level tbsp Coriander seeds<\/li>\n<li> 1 level tsp Cumin seeds<\/li>\n<li> Red or green chilli, chopped<\/li>\n<li> 1 level tbsp Tamarind paste (or juice of 1\/2 lime)<\/li>\n<li> Salt<\/li>\n<li> Fresh coriander, chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Combine the paprika, turmeric, garlic and ginger with 150ml cold water and mix well.&nbsp; Heat a small pan and dry roast the coriander and cumin seeds for a few minutes. Crush them in a pestle and mortar and add to the spice mix.<\/p>\n<p> Pour this mixture into a medium-sized pan, bring to the boil and simmer gently for 10 mins.&nbsp; Add the coconut milk, chilli, tamarind paste (or lime juice) and season well with salt. Simmer, uncovered for 5-10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p> Add the prawns and simmer until they turn just opaque &#8211; no longer than 5 mins.
