{"id":135,"date":"2012-10-13T10:59:43","date_gmt":"2012-10-13T10:59:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tezzatron.com\/loadsofrecipes\/2012\/10\/13\/fajitas-version-a\/"},"modified":"2012-10-13T10:59:43","modified_gmt":"2012-10-13T10:59:43","slug":"fajitas-version-a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loadsofrecipes.co.uk\/beef-recipes\/fajitas-version-a\/","title":{"rendered":"Fajitas (version a)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Serves<\/strong><br \/>\n2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking time<\/strong><br \/>\n30 mins<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>250g Meat (turkey steak, chicken breast or rump steak) cut into thin strips<br \/>\n1 Red onion, sliced<br \/>\n1 Clove garlic, chopped<br \/>\nHalf a green pepper and half a red pepper, sliced<br \/>\n1 Green or red chilli, chopped<br \/>\n1 tsp Smoked paprika<br \/>\n1 tsp Ground cumin<br \/>\nPinch of dried oregano<br \/>\nJuice of half a lime<br \/>\n1 Large tomato, chopped<br \/>\nPinch of sugar<br \/>\nSml handful fresh coriander, chopped<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a large frying pan or wok, heat the oil and add the onion. Fry for a few minutes, stirring. Add the meat and garlic and stir-fry for a few minutes until the meat starts to brown. Add the peppers and chilli and continue to stir-fry until the peppers start to soften slightly.<\/p>\n<p>Add the smoked paprika, cumin and oregano. Stir well to mix. Squeeze in the lime juice and add the tomato, sugar and some salt and pepper. Continue to stir-fry until everything is cooked, about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Serve with flour or corn tortillas and soured cream.
