{"id":171,"date":"2012-08-27T20:23:58","date_gmt":"2012-08-27T20:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tezzatron.com\/loadsofrecipes\/2012\/08\/27\/pasta-alla-puttanesca\/"},"modified":"2012-08-27T20:23:58","modified_gmt":"2012-08-27T20:23:58","slug":"pasta-alla-puttanesca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loadsofrecipes.co.uk\/italian-recipes\/pasta-alla-puttanesca\/","title":{"rendered":"Pasta alla Puttanesca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Serves<\/strong><br \/>\n4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking time<\/strong><br \/>\n30 mins<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>500g pasta<br \/>\n4 tbsp olive oil<br \/>\n400g (1 tin) chopped tomatoes<br \/>\n1 red chilli, finely chopped (or pinch of chilli flakes)<br \/>\n8 anchovy fillets, chopped<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves, chopped<br \/>\n25g butter (optional)<br \/>\n100g pitted black olives, sliced<br \/>\n2 tbsp capers, rinsed<br \/>\n4 tbsp chopped fresh parsley<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cook pasta until al dente.\u00a0 Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a pan, add tomatoes. Bring to boil and cook for 4-6 mins, stirring and crushing until slightly reduced.<br \/>\nIn another pan, gently fry the chilli, anchovies and garlic in the remaining oil and butter (if using)\u00a0for 1-2 mins, mashing the anchovies.<br \/>\nAdd the tomatoes, olives and capers to the chilli, anchovies and garlic. Cook for 2-3 mins, stirring.<br \/>\nDrain the pasta and add to the sauce.
