{"id":210,"date":"2011-10-08T14:18:49","date_gmt":"2011-10-08T14:18:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tezzatron.com\/loadsofrecipes\/2011\/10\/08\/thai-beef-salad\/"},"modified":"2011-10-08T14:18:49","modified_gmt":"2011-10-08T14:18:49","slug":"thai-beef-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loadsofrecipes.co.uk\/asian-recipes\/thai-beef-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Thai beef salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>250g piece of rump or sirloin steak<\/li>\n<li> <strong>Marinade:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li> 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li> 1 tsp peppercorns, crushed<\/li>\n<li> 1 tsp ground cumin<\/li>\n<li> 2 tsp ground coriander<\/li>\n<li> 1 tsp sesame oil<\/li>\n<li> 1 tbsp veg or groundnut oil <\/li>\n<li> 1 green chilli, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li> <strong>Dressing:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li> 1 tbsp fish sauce<\/li>\n<li> 1 tbsp soy sauce<\/li>\n<li> Juice of half a lime <\/li>\n<li> 1 tsp sugar<\/li>\n<li> 1 green chilli, sliced<\/li>\n<li><strong>Salad:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li> any crunchy veg &#8211; chinese leaves, cabbage, peppers, onions, carrots, beansprouts etc.<\/li>\n<li> toasted sesame seeds to garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mix marinade ingredients together and rub well into steak. Leave for at least 20-30 mins, longer if you have time.&nbsp; Mix together dressing ingredients in a small bowl &#8211; taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, it should be salty, sour, sweet and spicy. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prepare veg and place in a large serving bowl.&nbsp; Griddle the steak until cooked medium.
