{"id":221,"date":"2011-10-09T17:24:49","date_gmt":"2011-10-09T17:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tezzatron.com\/loadsofrecipes\/2011\/10\/09\/lamb-meatballs-in-dill-sauce\/"},"modified":"2011-10-09T17:24:49","modified_gmt":"2011-10-09T17:24:49","slug":"lamb-meatballs-in-dill-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loadsofrecipes.co.uk\/rest-of-the-world-recipes\/lamb-meatballs-in-dill-sauce\/","title":{"rendered":"Lamb Meatballs in Dill sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 spring onions<\/li>\n<li> 175g streaky bacon, chopped<\/li>\n<li> 1 garlic clove, chopped<\/li>\n<li> 1\/2 tsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li> 454g lamb mince<\/li>\n<li> Salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li> 3 tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li> 250ml white wine<\/li>\n<li> 2 tsp fresh dill, chopped <\/li>\n<li> 250ml double cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Blend onions, bacon, garlic and cinnamon in a food processor until smooth. Sir in the mince and season. Shape into 15 balls.<\/p>\n<p> Heat oil in a frying pan and fry meatballs until browned. Add wine, cover and simmer for 30 mins. Remove the meatballs and keep warm.<\/p>\n<p> Boil the remaining liquid to reduce slightly. Lower the heat, stir in dill and cream. Stir the mixture over a very gentle heat until sauce thickens.
