You could use other vegetables, try and stick to something with a reasonable cooking time, something similar to potato.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This recipe for chicken cooked in parchment paper, is simple, quick and easy. \u00a0First trim the vegetables cutting the carrot and celery into reasonably sized chuncks, a couple of centimetres wide. \u00a0Half the potatoes and trim andy skin off the chicken.<\/p>\n<p>Next lay the parchment paper out on a flat surface, you&#8217;ll need enough to make a pocket for all the ingredients. \u00a0fold the paper in half then turn the side edges in tightly to form a pocket with a hole at the top.<\/p>\n<p>Pour all of the ingredients into the pocket, the wine last, you can also add parsley or any other herbs at this point. \u00a0Season well with salt and pepper (about 1\/2 tablespoon of salt)<\/p>\n<p>Fold over the final edge so the pocket is now airtight and place on a baking tray, it is very imporant that the packet is tightly formed so that all the moisture stays inside \u00a0cook in the oven for around 35 mins or until the potatoes are fully cooked and serve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Serves 2 Cooking time 50 mins Ingredients 2 chicken breasts 3-4 new potatoes, halved 2 carrots 3 sticks of celery 250ml of dry white wine 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped You&#8217;ll also need a baking tray and a roll of parchment paper.
